Social Evening Feb 9th
Many thanks to Sylvia and Rob Newlyn and Gillian Douglas for organising this fun family evening, once again the musical chairs was hotly contested with Oliver Webb winning over Jasmine Beveridge (you were robbed, Jas) whilst in the grown-up version Barbara Beveridge could be seen climbing over the chairs as a short-cut whilst ‘Tidy’ Trevor Lewis showed an astonishing turn of speed running around the long way, both however were pipped to the title by the chair swivelling Brian Begley! Piñata time saw the sweet- a-holics slashing the air madly, Rosie L was very keen to catch up with a sweet or two whilst little brother Jonny was only interested in the two back legs of the donkey! Holly won the musical statues, and I’m sure that just for a moment I spotted Tim doing the birdie dance?
Saturday 1st Dec:
Social evening in the Woodward Hall was a great success. Fun, games, Sumo wrestling and a disco. About 80 members turned up making a good evening for the young ones, even some of the parents donned the sumo suit for a bout in the ring.
Thanks to all who helped and supported - disco, sumo gear and especially Sylvia, Robert (who also did a grand job in the galley) and Gillian for the organization and planning of the evening.
