Girls Senior Pairs Championships: Devon Amos and Ashlea Fry

Ladies Masters (40-49 years) Championships: Donna Wickens
Overall Third, Winner of the Swim and Tow, Second in the Line Throw
 
Girls Junior Pairs Championships: Jasmine Beveridge and Abbie Collins
Overall Fifth, Third in the Swim and Tow

An outstanding performance by Aslea and Devon resulted in making them the 2008 UK National Junior Girls Champions. (Lifesaving)

In addition:  For South East Region  - 2008 UK National Regional Champions. ( All those who qualified Ashlea & Devon, Tara & Jaz, Natalie & Ruth, along with the other competitors from our region had their points added together and the SER were the highest placed region ( 12 regions )  in all events which resulted in being the best performing Region of 2008 Finals.

Congratulations:  to three of our younger life savers! Jasmine Beveridge (13) is  Kent Junior Lifesaving Speed Champion & silver medallist in the Skills Championship. Tyler Amos (11) is Kent Junior Lifesaving Skill Champion & a bronze medallist in the Speed Championships and Hannah Smissen (11) was placed 5th in the speed championships and 6th in the skills.
